A laparoscopic surgery is a minimally invasive procedure used to take a look inside your stomach or pelvis. Your provider will make a few small incisions and insert a telescopic rod with a video camera on the end, called a laparoscope. Additional incisions will be made to insert other surgical tools to assist with the procedure.
The laparoscopic camera will project an image from inside the pelvis onto a monitor. These images can guide your provider during surgery and help us diagnose or treat your condition.
